Often the biggest hurdle to analyzing information is getting data organized the way you need it - columns need to be split, tables combined, or certain entries omitted. Doing it by hand may be impossible for all but the smallest data sets.

Power Query is an oft-overlooked feature of Excel that can automate many such conversions, for example separating city, state, and ZIP code in an address, or

transposing rows and columns.
