18th Annual Brimfield Auto Show

Now in its 18^th year, the annual Brimfield Auto Show is a benefit for Hitchcock Academy and the Brimfield Firefighters Association. The 2026 show will take place at the Brimfield Winery on Saturday, October 10 from 10am to 3pm. The rain date for the event is October 11.
 
The Brimfield Winery is known for supporting the community and in particular area nonprofits throughout the summer and fall. The Brimfield Auto Show is perhaps the biggest with 800 vehicles registering to be shown and vie for one of the trophies given out in 28 categories. Also awarded will be trophies for People’s Choice, Best in Show, the Firefighters Award, and this year a memorial trophy honoring Eugene “Gene” Randall who passed away in April of this year. Gene was an avid classic car enthusiast and served as a judge for many of the shows.
 
Car registration opens at 7:00am (an hour earlier this year) and is just $20 per vehicle. General admission is $5.
 
The event will include several food trucks, beverages offered by Brimfield Winery, and live music by Cruisin’ Bruce Marshall of The Valley’s Classic Hits 97.7FM.
 
The show draws car clubs and spectators from throughout the state as well as bordering states such as New Hampshire and Connecticut. The show isn’t just antique cars alone – it includes vintage varieties such as muscle cars as well as utility vehicles and trucks. You will find anything from the early 1900’s, Trucks, Street Rods, Camaros, Corvettes, and European Models, even vintage fire apparatus, and more. Brimfield’s first fire truck, a 1927 Buffalo, will be on display as well as the Massachusetts State Police Museum’s 1968 Ford Ranch Wagon used by troopers to keep the motoring public safe.
 
The show’s souvenir commemorative program book is produced and published by Hitchcock Academy as a fundraiser for the community center.
Among the articles in this year’s book are features on local auto shop owner and musician David Bell and automotive journalist, historian, author, and television host Steve Magnante aka Steve Mags who will be present at this year’s show.
 
David Bell has been in the automotive business in Brimfield for more than 40 years and is the owner of Classic Heaven on Holland Road, providing auto repair, body work, painting, and restoration. A feature in the program book details the impact of the 2011 tornado on Bell’s business and his lifelong love of classic cars.
 
A feature on Steve Mags surveys his career and rise to automotive acclaim through work on "Junkyard Crawls” and Roadkill's “Junkyard Gold,” as well as his work as an auction commentator and brand spokesperson for Dodge.
 
The Brimfield Firefighters Association is also a beneficiary of the fundraising event, collecting car registration and admission from the show, selling t-shirts, and running a 50/50 raffle during the event. Proceeds have supported the restoration of the Buffalo Truck and are also used for ongoing critical training.
 
The show doesn’t happen without volunteers, and more are always needed to help with registration, directing parking and judging. Hitchcock can connect with anyone interested in participating.
