Jazz Blues and Two Tattoos

Gary Negbaur’s ankles bear the symbols of New Orleans and New York. He keeps a foot in each musical world while also touring worldwide, performing the music from the ’20s to today. This pianist and singer has grooved at the Superdome in New Orleans, knocked them out at Birdland in NYC, and raised the roof at South by Southwest in Austin. In Paris, he brought the audience to their feet at the legendary Le Bilboquet. Between tours, he’s recorded albums of original rock music, solo jazz standards, children’s songs, and New Orleans classics. A Harvard-educated composer, Negbaur writes music for theater, film, and TV.
