Kids On Track or Treat (Round Trip Splfd to Hartford)

The wildly popular Track or Treat train ride returns October 24, 2026.

On October 24, the train leaves Springfield at 10:00 am and arrives in Hartford at 10:39 am. In Hartford, passengers will leave the train and be greeted by a variety of Halloween treats. The return train leaves Hartford at 10:56 am and arrives back in Springfield at 11:38 am, where passengers will have even more Halloween treats to choose from.

** Passengers riding the train on Saturday, October 24, must be in the main concourse of Springfield Union Station no later than 9:30 am for check-in. **

Maggie the Railroad Clown will be in the stations and on the trains both days performing feats of magic, weaving balloon wizardry, and painting some faces, too.

And, the Dancing Witches will be adding a scary musical touch to the event both days.

Parking at Springfield Union Station on Saturday, October 24 is free for this event.
