This business starting series will give you all the necessary tools to start and run a small business this summer including financial literacy and planning skills, advertising, marketing and networking strategies, and customer service tactics. You will hear from professionals and local small business owners about how to build a successful enterprise and develop your idea into a business plan. At the end of this series you will have a working resume, advertising materials, a strong business plan, and the option to have a booth at the Teen Business Fair on June 13th from 10am - 1pm.

In this session you will:

• Name your business
• Create a simple resume highlighting skills and experiences
• Learn what a reference is and how to use them
• Design a brochure, flyer, or business card using Canva
• Learn where and how to promote your services

For teens ages 13 - 18. Please register.
