Workshop13 Open Stage

Our Open Mics stand out from the rest as something special that gives artists an opportunity to play on a professional stage with great lighting and sound with an encouraging and listening audience. Our Open Stage Nights feature a Host band to bookend the evening of local songwriters and bands to perform originals and covers. 

Sign up to come with yourself, or your band! Each artist gets 2 songs or approx. 10 mins for each performer.  All musicians are encouraged to sign up in advance to ensure that they have a spot.

If you love local music, come out this Friday night for our monthly Open Stage! Friday, May 15, 7-10pm in our Grand Hall at 13 Church St, Ware.

This month's host band is Who Wants to Know! This flexible confederation of old friends and great musicians serves up a danceable mixed-up gumbo of R&B, Americana, Country, and Blues. The “who” in Who Wants to Know is Arny Spielberg (guitar/vocals), Bob Sarkala (guitar), Gerry Bellegarde (bass/vocals), and Doug MacLeod (drums).

$5 – $20 Door Donation. Doors open at 6:30 pm. Music from 7 pm to 10 pm.  

Cafe-style table seating.  Hot dogs, Beer & Wine are available for purchase, as always, we will be featuring Tree House Brewery! Complimentary popcorn.
