WOW: Four Local Poets!! Hot Off the Presses!!
Four Local Poets Will Read from Recent Work, in Conjunction with the Art Exhibit “Wild Ornery Women,” at the ArtWork’s Gallery located at 69 Main Street.

Doors at 1:30PM, Reading begins at 2PM
This is a free Event, we accept donations at the door.
This event is happening at Workshop13’s Grand Hall at 13 Church Street.
Gail Thomas will read poems from This World*, with photos by Deb Lohmeyer, that reflect on immigration, houselessness and invisibility, as well as perspectives on grief, love and hope.
Elaine Reardon will read primarily from her latest chapbook, Stories Told in a Forgotten Tongue, her family story from immigration to assimilation.
Madlynn Haber will read from her collection, Seasons of Sorrow and Joy, and other poems that tell the stories of some of the wild ornery women she grew up with and loves.
Eileen P. Kennedy will read poems from Dread and Splendor: Paintings and Poems for a New Planet, a new book about the feminine presence at the
heart of the environmental movement, as well as from previous collections.
We will have light refreshments and tea and coffee available.
*Proceeds will be donated to local organizations that support our immigrant and houseless
neighbors.
