Job Opening: Entry-Level Digital Marketing Specialist
If you have some experience with SEO, Social Media Management, PPC Advertising and/or light web design/development work we would like to hear from you.
You do not need to have significant experience with all of these fields, but some exposure to either search engine optimization or web development in general is greatly preferred. If you have other skills that you think would be relevant to this job like data processing, sales or graphic design experience be sure to list that in the text section below.
Duties
- Make light edits/content changes to client sites on WordPress, Wix or other CMS'
- Updating User Profile Data in various CRM's like HubSpot, Klaviyo and etc.
- Occasionally create email marketing campaigns
- Review SEO data for clients via SEMRush, find opportunities for improvement, refine keyword strategies and implement changes
- Review social media profiles, find growth opportunities, create posts and/or provide posting suggestions to business owners
Skills
- Exposure to SEO tools such as SEMrush or Ahrefs and experience in keyword research, or, a general understanding of aspects related to SEO like keyword difficulty ratings, Schema or on-page vs off-page SEO.
- Ability to clearly communicate your ideas to myself, other small business owners or marketing teams for larger companies. You are happy to explain your thinking in depth, provide alternatives based on feedback/criticism and back up your ideas with data or examples from previous work.
- You are comfortable with technology and feel comfortable making content changes in CMS' like WordPress, SquareSpace, Wix or Webflow. This position does not require coding experience (but definitely let us know if you do have coding experience), but a general level of familiarity with these tools is a big bonus.
Expectations
Fisher Tech Solutions LLC does not utilize AI for completing client or internal work. While some light use of ChatGPT for general problem solving is fine, no AI generated code, text or images should be used in any finished work presented to me or our clients.
Compensation
We are looking to pay $20/hour for up to 5-10 hours a week of work to start. This position is likely to grow over the next year as you get used to your new role.
