About Us

In 2011, after working with rescued animals and their people for a combined total of over 25 years, mother-daughter team Barbara Horn and Rachael Max, bought 29 acres in Brimfield, Massachusetts and built their dream, Here Today Adopted Tomorrow Animal Sanctuary.

Here Today Adopted Tomorrow is a 501(c) (3) non-profit, volunteer driven group focused on reducing the number of homeless animals in our community through prevention and adoption services. In December of 2012, Here Today opened a cageless adoption center for adult cats and kittens. It is deeply important to us that every resident's stay at Here Today is comfortable and healthy, making for well-adjusted, happy animals. Many shy and fearful cats that do not do well in a traditional shelter flourish in our setting.

When Here Today opened our adoption center, it quickly became clear that there was a large local population of homeless cats. Our ultimate goal is to decrease the number of animals coming into the shelter system. Here Today Adopted Tomorrow's mission is to reduce the number of homeless animals in western Massachusetts through shelter, adoption, spay/neuter, trap neuter return, and education of the public.
